Although I am focussing the application to be as small and efficient as possible I try to add as much handy functionality as possible. As long as the functionality is easy to use and doesn&#8217;t need any fanatic configuration.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div  style='height:50px' class='hr hr-invisible   avia-builder-el-0  avia-builder-el-no-sibling '><span class='hr-inner ' ><span class='hr-inner-style'><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Small overview of features<\/h4>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NZBVortex Cloud: clients share anonymous download state and results<\/strong><br \/>\nThis will result in quicker spam and junk detection and also quicker downloads and will fix filenames.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multi server \/ connection \/ threaded downloading<\/strong><br \/>\nArticles are downloaded using multiple threads, optimally using mulitcore processors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Optimized downloading (auto par2 skipping)<\/strong><br \/>\nOnly required par2 files are downloaded, resu lting in up to 10% smaller downloads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Par and par2 verify and repair<\/strong><br \/>\nNZBVortex will verify and repair the downloaded files automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Automatic decompressing downloaded files<\/strong><br \/>\nIf all files are downloaded correctly the (zip\/rar) archives are decompressed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Join split files<\/strong><br \/>\nAutomatic join split files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SmartCheck<\/strong><br \/>\nSmartCheck will detect if a par2 is needed or not.It will try to skip the par2 phase if no par2 check is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>RSS feed support<\/strong><br \/>\nNZBVortex is able to watch a RSS feed for nzbs and automatic start download. Including a smart episode filter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cleanup unwanted files<\/strong><br \/>\nThis feature will cleanup all unwanted files after downloading, expressions customizable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ability to start postprocessing manually<\/strong><br \/>\nPost processing takes a lot of CPU load and disk IO, this option allows you to determine when YOU are ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seperate download and Complete folder<\/strong><br \/>\nCreate a seperate folder for completed downloads so you really can see what is done and what is not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shutdown when all downloads are completed<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen enabled NZBvortex is able to put your Mac to sleep when all downloads are finished.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NZB watch folder<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen enabled this option enabled NZBVortex will monitor a folder for new NZB files and<br \/>\nstart downloading by automatic adding found NZBs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Skip Sample files (option)<\/strong><br \/>\nNZBVortex is able to skip sample files from NZB.<br \/>\nThis will reduce the total download size for some movies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Automatic cleanup files<\/strong><br \/>\nIf all files are downloaded correctly and all is processed well the unwanted files are automatically cleaned up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Simple but clear Native OSX UI (Cocoa)<\/strong><br \/>\nNZBVortex doesn&#8217;t use any crossplatform gui library or weird webserver to host the UI.<br \/>\nThis application is as native as an application on OSX can be!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Low HDD usage \/ Great SSD support<\/strong><br \/>\nA special memory cache has beed added to prevent &#8220;disk trashing&#8221; and lowering disk IO.<br \/>\nMost useful for SSD users. Nice side effect is that storing data is done on a separate thread and not slowing down your downloads!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Supports SSL servers<\/strong><br \/>\nSecurity if everthing, worries about your privacy? Use SSL newsservers on NZBVortex!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zipped NZB support<\/strong><br \/>\nExtract and add nzbs contained in a ZIP file, handy for large nzb downloads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Download Throttling\/Limiting<\/strong><br \/>\nThis option will allow you to limit the download speed, reserving some network speed for any other applications like games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Growl support<\/strong><br \/>\nLike Growl as much as I do?
